This just in...

So I know I JUST said something but in the last 5 minutes, in my haste to pack for this weekend I just *gulp* dropped one of my wedding earrings down the bathroom sink! Woe is me! Lost to humanity forever is the sentemental value of MY precious earring.
Lesson learned.
No more jewelry in the bathroom and I'll always have my lone earring to remind me of that... unless of course I drop that one too.
Luckily for me (and for Tyson) they weren't expensive. Do you think one earring worn on women will ever be fashionable?

On the blog-wagon

Yes everyone, it's true, I have now joined the blogging world. After reading my friend's and families' cute cute blogs I had to join in on the fun!

Yesterday we had a great day with Tyson; he celebrated his 28th birthday. In honor of him and his passion for Tony Roma's (which has gone out of business in Utah) I decided to make him ribs. I found a recipe on-line that looked delicious and only moderately complecated so I thought I would give it a go. I began to get worried around the time that I began choking on the massive quantities of cayanne and black pepper that went into the rub and my worry only increased as I realized I wasn't sure if I had a pan big enough for my enormous rack of ribs.

Well, to make a long story short in spite of my stress the ribs turned out great! Tyson couldn't stop eating them and that was the best compliment he could have given me. All in all we had a great day!

Anyway, I'm off to St. George for a music conference and then to Las Vegas to see the blessing of my new nephew Reggie. Should be a fun weekend! Talk to you all later!

Chef Boy-oh-boy

I knew I would regret it.

I knew I would hate it.

I knew I never should have done it.

But for some reason I couldn't resist...
Lasagna in a can.

And as I sit here pondering the consequences of what I've done, each hiccup reminding me of my
transgression, each breath a testament to my faults, I can't help but think...

Maybe the spaghetti is better?
(Oh, and to show what a good wife I am, Tyson, the leftovers are in the fridge for you ;o))
